I had ordered this value set before I knew that Memebox was sending the #HDReady MakeupByEvon Cream Matte Lipsticks to me.  However, I am glad I have this set, as it lets you choose the color that YOU want, if you do not wish to own all three shades in the #HDReady cream matte lipsticks.  The #HDReady Lips Sets come in three different versions

03 Daring Marsala This shade is what Pantone had in mind when they called Marsala the color of the year.  This is a beautiful wine shade, with brown undertones, and although it is the darkest shade of the trio, I do not consider it “vampy”.  It is a very wearable shade and it goes on smoothly, very creamy and not cakey.   I love that it has a doe foot applicator, as that means I can get more precision than a normal lipstick ~ the container and applicator are normally seen for lipgloss, not matte lipsticks.   I do not see the settling in around any of my lip lines and I love that it has a nice slip to it.  I think anyone can pull this shade off, young or old, warm or cool tones.   This is another shade that I could wear daily as well, as I like a darker lip.   This product contains Vitamin E, to help soften and moisturize your lips.  

TIP:  If you are going to wear matte lipsticks, you should exfoliate your lips with a sugar lip scrub (you can make your own) and at night, apply a rich, moisturizing lip balm to keep your lips from peeling and getting chapped.  Matte lipsticks will show every imperfection on your lips, so you should exfoliate and moisturize them!  Value $10.00

I’m Lip Brush  This is a fun brush ~ it is a retractable lip brush and is made from synthetic bristles.  This has a dense brush, so if you do not use a lip brush, you could use this for applying eyeshadow ~ under the eye, around the corner of the eye.   Value $6.00

Tonymoly Mini Blueberry Lip Balm  This was free with this value set.  Depending on the value set you purchase, you will get either a peach, cherry or blueberry.  Set #3 comes with the blueberry lip balm and this is so cute ~ look at the detail at the top of the blueberry!   This lip balm is SPF15 PA+, so it provides some protection from UV rays.   This smells like sweet blueberries and it is a vivid, bright purple-pink color in the pot, but when applied, it is a sheer wash of purpley-pink shade.  It is highly moisturizing and I really love Tonymoly products when it comes to their fruit & veggie packaging ~ so fun!  The blueberry extracts will help soften and hydrate your lips, cranberry extracts will hydrate, strawberry extracts will soften your lips while the blackberry extracts not only softens, but protects your lips as well.  Value $9.00
