The Memebox Gods must love me! Actually, the Memebox Ambassador Coordinator is so generous. When Veronica told me about the new brands they were offering at Memebox and would I be interested in them ~ I let her know that I was interested in a couple of items from TreeannSea. I was then offered the opportunity to select more as they wanted me to introduce TreeannSea to my readers and I was thrilled to pick out some more items! This huge package showed up at my doorstep the other day, with all of my goodies plus an extra item 🙂 This blog post will unbox what I received from Memebox, with some initial impressions, such as swatches, scent, texture. I plan to have full reviews on these items over the next month or so ~ it is a lot of products!!
Who is TreeannSea ?
Legend has it that in a mystical place where the land meets the sea, a precious baby named Ann was born. Under the care and nurture of land and sea, she blossomed into a beautiful woman with radiant, pearlescent skin and an alluring floral fragrance. Inspired by this mythical story, Treeannsea uses premium natural ingredients that harmonize nature and beauty. The results are astounding KFDA-certified skincare to brighten and improve the complexion and safe, cruelty free products that you can wholeheartedly trust.
I love these “mythical” tales! Anyway, story telling aside, TreeannSea is an eco-friendly beauty brand that uses ingredients from desert, the water and botanical ingredients to create their skincare products. They use natural ingredients and try to have 80% of raw botanical ingredients in their products. TreeannSea are made using the EWG Skin Deep environmental database as a guide and they use 0-2 grades only (low hazard ingredients). They do not use any of the harmful chemicals: synthetic flavors, synthetic preservatives ~ phenoxyethanol, parabens series, synthetic pigments, synthetic surfactants ~ SLS/SLES and do not use animal testing. All of their products bottles and packaging are completely recyclable. TreeannSea believe in social responsibility and they participate in fair trade practices.
They have several skincare lines and those marked with ** are ones that I chose to review
Desert I didn’t pick any from this line, since I am allergic to rose, and rose is included in this series. This looks to be a very moisturizing and dewy skincare line. The ampoule looks fantastic! I had that on my list until I read the ingredients ~ usually if rose is near the end of a long list of ingredients, I will chance it, but in this case it was one of the top ingredients.
Eskimo Melle This is a soothing care line and seems to be for oily/combo to normal skin. The majority of my selections came from this line, excluding a couple of products that contained rose.
- Liquid Mousse Foam **
- Smoothing Cleansing Water **
- Fertile Soothing Toner **
- Fertile Soothing Facial Mist
- Whitening Serum
- Time Release Age Define Cream **
Madagascar This is their pore care/oily skin line and I got both items from this line.
I also was sent the new Dilly Delight Lychee Hydra Wash Mask, which looks amazingly FUN!! This bouncy soap is currently only available thru the Tutti Fruitti box, which I did pre-order.
Eskimo Mella This line looks to be best for for oily, combination and sensitive skin. I could also seeing this work for dry skin and when I do my reviews, I will have moisture tests. The packaging is so sweet with an Eskimo girl, igloo, caribou and polar bears ~ the reason for that design is due to star ingredient in this line is USDA Organic Tremella Fuciformis or Snow Fungus, which is pretty cooling looking mushroom ~ what is ironic is that it is a tropical mushroom, not an arctic one.
Tremella Fuciformis (Snow Fungus) is a white gelatinous parasitic fungus that has been used in TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) for centuries, as well as for culinary dishes. It draws water to the skin, just like hyaluronic acid, helping keep your skin hydrated and moist, plumping up fine lines and wrinkles. It is supposed to be 120% more efficient than HA, as its particles are smaller than hyaluronic acid ~ it penetrates your skin better and more easier. Snow fungus is a natural organic alternative to hyaluronic acid. It contains Vitamin D, the sunshine vitamin ~ we need produce it when we get it thru exposure to the sun and also in foods and supplements. Also, snow fungus is an antioxidant, helping combat and reserve free radical damage, including lightening of hyper-pigmentation spots.
TreeannSea Eskimo Mella Liquid Mousse Foam I haven’t done a pH test yet on this foam, but I will post my findings as soon as possible on my IG feed ~ I will post these types of tests first on my IG feed, as I have found my readers would like to know this information quickly and it can take me a week or so with a review to be posted here. This soap-free cleanser is supposed to help clean and tighten your pores and is full of Vitamin E and B1 due to the rice bran extract along with premium mineral water from Northern Italy. This liquid cleanser will foam up to a mousse-like texture, which is a texture I find to be one of the most silky-smooth and decadent textures in soaps ever. The scent to this product is almost non-existent ~ if I sniff hard enough, I can detect a faint scent of tangerine. 150 mL RV $21.00
Description: Contains naturally carbonated water and a carbon dioxide component that cleans skin and removes makeup and impurities without stripping.
Ingredients: carbonated water, potassium cocoyl glycinate, disodium cocoamphodiacetate, cocamidopropyl betain, butylene glycol, tremella fuciformis extract, saponaria officinalis root extract, gentiana lutea root extract, carica papaya (papaya) leaf extract, pueraria lobata root extract, utica dioica (nettle) extract, zanthoxylum piperitum fruit extract, pullsatilla koreana extract, usnea barbata extract, glycerin, chaenomeles sinensis fruit extract, ficus sarica (fig) fruit extract, oryza sativa (rice) bran extract, psoralea corylifolia fruit extract, saponaria officianalis leaf extract, hovenia dulcis extract, sapindus mukurossi fruit extract, avena sativa (oat) kernel extract, aspalathus linearis leaf extract, aloe maculata leaf extract, 1, 2-hexandiol, caprylyl glycol, citric acid, citrus tangerina (tangerine) peel oil cosDNA analysis
TreeannSea Eskimo Mella Smoothing Cleansing Water I love using cleansing waters ~ first thing in the morning to remove my night skincare residue, first thing when I get home from work and whenever I just need to “freshen” up. This contains the same mineral (carbonated) water from Northern Italy, as well papaya leaf extract which is full of vitamins A, C and E and contains carpaine, which helps suppress bacteria, fungus and other toxins and can also speed up wound healing. This also has a faint scent of tangerine and I can swear I smell the herbaceous scent of lavender, but again, it is so soft and light, I personally view it as scentless. Tangerine seems to be the scent for the Eskimo Melle line of products, and this does contain tangerine peel oil ~ this contains limonene, which I learned acts as a booster to help other ingredients penetrate your skin easier and faster. 200 mL RV $21.00
Description: Infused with fresh and fruity extracts, this cleansing water hydrates skin while freeing it from makeup and impurities. Plus, it’s made of Carbonated Water, so all the nutrients fizz deep into pores, nourishing and cleaning so pores appear smaller and smoother.
Ingredients: carbonated water, decyl glucoside, glycerin, saponaria officinalis root extract, gentiana lutea root extract, carica papaya (papaya) leaf extract, pueraria lobata root extract, utica dioica (nettle) extract, zanthoxylum piperitumfruit extract, pullsatilla koreana extract, usnea barbata extract, tremella fuciformis extract, butylene glycol, potassium cocoyl glutamate, potassium olivoil PCA, lavandula angustifolia (lavender) extract, rubus idaeus (raspberry) fruit extract, althaea officinalis leaf extract, portulaca oleracea extract, citrus nobilis (mandarin orange) fruit extract, gossypium herbaceum (cotton) seed extract, fucus vesiculosus extract, morus nigra fruit extract, mentha piperita (peppermint) extract, grifola frondosa extract, 1,2-hexandiol, caprylyl glycol, citric acid, citrus tangerina (tangerine) peel oil cosDNA analysis
TreeannSea Eskimo Mella Fertile Soothing Toner Onto the toner! This contains 90% chamomile flower water, so this is a very soothing toner ~ chamomile can calm down the skin and relieve redness effectively as it has antioxidant, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to relieve skin issues and irritations because it soothes and lessens swelling and redness, while healing skin and stimulating cellular renewal. This also contains witch hazel, which is an oily and acne-prone skin’s best friend because it has antibacterial and antiseptic qualities which helps clear up acne and it removes excess oil from skin. It can speed up healing and is a powerful anti-inflammatory, which also helps soothe skin. Witch hazel also refreshes and rejuvenates skin, refines the pores and seal in moisture. I am really looking forward to using this ~ it is a very watery toner with a very faint herbal scent ~ I think that is the chamomile. 200 mL RV $23.00
Description: A perfect toner for dry and tired skin. Crafted with 90% Chamomile Water, it soothes and calms skin while protecting it from losing moisture. It also pampers your pores with an extra cleansing and brightens the complexion. TreeannSea Eskimo Mella Time Release Age Define Cream This cream is in a nice sturdy plastic bottle with a vacuum air pump applicator. I might also add that all of the packaging for TreeannSea are substantial and sturdy. This is full of antioxidant botanical ingredients as well as moisturizing shea butter and meadowfoam oil ~ meadowfoam oil has excellent anti-oxidant and skin softening properties and benefits. It has rich texture that helps with your skin’s barrier and locks in your skin’s moisture, preventing dryness. This cream is supposed to help not only with moisturizing but also will have skin brightening effects. This is a very creamy, smooth cream ~ it really isn’t heavy like a cream, so I would say it is a medium weight lotion. It absorbs quickly into my skin, leaving my skin feeling very soft and smooth, very soothing. I didn’t smell any scent with this cream/lotion and there was no tacky residue. I think this is perfect for my skin type (oily, aging) to use as the months transition from summer to fall. 50 mL RV $30.00
Description: Reverse the hands of time with this age-defying cream. It’s flowing with Jeju Mineral Water and natural extracts like moisturizing Chrysanthemum Mushroom (aka Snow Fungus aka Tremella Fuciformis) and Meadowfoam Oil, a heaven-sent hybrid known as a “moisture bomb” that blasts away wrinkles and fine lines. Plus, this dream cream brightens and tightens, leaving you with ever so youthful skin you can see and feel.
Ingredients: Jeju mineral water, limnanthes alba (meadowfoam) seed oil, glycerin, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, tremella fuciformis (chrysanthemum mushroom) extract, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, ceratonia siliqua (carob) fruit extract, rubus fruticosus (blackberry) fruit extract, cetearyl olivate, sorbitan olivate, cetearyl alcohol, cetearyl glucoside, artemisia annua extract, calendula officinalis flower extract, symphytum officinale leaf extract, helichrysum angustifolium flower extract, azadirachta indica leaf extract, zanthoxylum piperitum fruit extract, pulsatilla koreana extract, usnea barbata (lichen) extract, adenosine, allantoin, panthenol, aronia melanocarpa fruit extract, olea europaea (olive) leaf extract, citrus junos fruit extract, paeonia albiflora root extract, inonotus obliquus (mushroom) extract, euterpe oleracea fruit extract, lepidium meyenii root extract, vaccinium myrtillus fruit extract, yucca vera extract, taraxacum officinale (dandelion) extract, sarcodon aspratus extract, aristotelia chilensis (maqui) fruit extract, asimina triloba fruit extract, morinda citrifolia extract, oenothera biennis (evening primrose) flower extract, vaccinium macrocarpon (cranberry) fruit extract, punica granatum fruit extract, hexanediol, caprylyl glycol, citrus aurantium amara (bitter orange) flower oil cosDNA analysis
Madagascar Series This is the pore and oily skin care line and one of the star ingredients is tamanu oil. The packaging is adorable with the beautiful lemur as the focal point of the design, along with a chameleon and turtles. I have to say this is one of the cutest designs I have seen ~ I love the artwork so much that I will keep the packaging.

Tamanu Oil is extracted from the nuts of the Ati tree and has an aromatic, pungent scent. Tamanu is a powerful skin regenerator as it helps promote new tissue growth, which speeds up wound healing. It is not only an anti-bacterial, it is an antioxidant, antibiotic (lactone compound) and anti-inflammatory (calophyllolide and coumarin compounds). It helps prevent UV sun damage to your skin as it can absorb UV rays. You want to find Tamanu oil that is a green color and has been hand gathered, sun dried and cold pressed. Based on TreeannSea’s site, they have done all of the latter steps to produce a nice thick greenish oil.
TreeannSea Madagascar Island Pore Soap I love soaps and yes, I have and still do use facial bar soaps ~ if this doesn’t work for my face, I can always use it for my body as the ingredients look to be very moisturizing and hydrating. This also contains neem oil, which is fantastic for oily skin and centella asiatica extract, a common herbal ingredient that is used medicinally to help speed up wound healing, such as blemishes and skin rashes. It also helps minimize the appearance of pores. This has a nice fresh scent to it, not floral, but very clean and it is a handcrafted, cold processed soap. 120 grams RV $11.00
Description: Treeannsea Madagascar Island Pore Soap uses the finest Tamunu oil in its cold handmade soap process without any synthetic fragrances. 100% pure Madagascar vegetable oils don’t have animal oils or alkalines, so it can better maintain a hydrated skin condition. Crafted with 100% natural Madagascar ingredients, this soap definitely raises the bar when it comes to cleansing. Tamanu Oil eliminates dirt and excess oils from pores and removes dead skin cells, while other gentle oils from Coconut and Macadamia Nut moisturize and nourish without any irritation.
Ingredients: calophyllum inophyllum seed oil (tamanu oil), cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, elaeis guineensis (palm) oil, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, macadamia nut oil, adansonia digitata (baobab) seed oil, neem oil, cocoa butter, centella asiatica extract, natural fragrance essential oil cosDNA analysis
TreeannSea Tamanu Oil This thick, dark yellowish-green oil is made of 100% certified Madagascan Tamanu oil. It is housed in a dark amber bottle to help preserve the freshness of the oil and has an eye drop applicator ~ you only need one or two drops ~ I will be mixing it in with other products. This is a very herbaceous scent which I find to be very pleasing, but if you do not care for stronger herbal scents, you might not care for the scent. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes to absorb completely, but once it does, my skin doesn’t feel greasy or oily. I plan to use this as part of my night skincare routine and Tamanu oil is one of those oils that look like it would not be appropriate for oily skin initially, but it is fantastic for oily and blemish prone skin. Don’t let the thick oily feel of it discourage you! I am really excited to try this item ~ it was on my original list of products I wanted to try. 30 mL RV $18.00
Description: This facial oil is 100% extra virgin Madagascar Tamanu Oil, praised for its powers to nourish irritated and troubled skin back to radiant health. It prevents skin from dryness and dehydration by strengthening its layers and striking the perfect balance between moisture and oil. The result is non-sticky, softer, and smoother skin.
Ingredients: 100% Calophylium Inophylium (Tamanu) Seed Oil
Bonus! I was also sent this really cute and fun soap made by Dilly Delight and it is the Lychee Hydra Wash Mask. This bouncy soap is currently only available thru the Tutti Fruitti box. I will be doing a vid showing the bouncy texture and lather. It looks so fun 🙂 It is hard to see, but there is a round jelly ball of soap sitting in that container. It comes with a foaming bubble net, so you put the soap in the net and lather up! Hopefully, Memebox will sell it by itself soon 100 grams RV $13.00
Description: Have a ball while washing up! This jiggly, bouncy soap ball cleans as effectively as a wash-off pack and moisturizes as powerfully as a hydrogel mask. Its hero ingredient Lychee builds a Collagen barrier to prevent dryness and protect from pollutants, while other tropical fruits give skin that gorgeous glow.
Directions: Insert the soap into the provided foaming net. Moisten your hands with water and create a bubbly lather. Apply the foam all over face and neck, massaging gently. Wash off with lukewarm water.
