Peaches & Petals is a subscription service that is focused on lifestyle and beauty products.  From their website  “Experience our world of fun, flirty and fashionable vintage-modern lifestyle in a hand-curated box delivered to you each month. ”  This box was sent to me for review purposes from Peaches & Petals and I thank them for their generosity as always🙂

Informational Card

The June 2016 theme is “Under The Boardwalk”, so it will be boardwalk and beachy-fun themed!  There was a spoiler on IG and I did repost it when I saw the really cool item!

Aztec Swimsuit Kimono/Coverup   I saw this as the spoiler on Peaches & Petals IG account and couldn’t wait for this month’s box!  This white kimono style coverup in an Aztec print of black, bright blue, magenta and golden yellow is made in a semi-sheer soft polyester blend.  It has a collarless style with three-quarter length sleeves.  This is great topper to wear on a summer evening or cover over your swimsuit.  It is one size fits all and this does fit me with no issues.  Love this!  RV $16.00

Francina Swirl Teardrop Earrings by Starfish Project  This fun earrings are in a gunmetal silver finish (they sell it in antique gold on their website) and they are in a tear drop design ~ these have an almost 2 inch drop from the top of the hook and about 1 inch in width at the widest part.  These are made by Starfish Project, which helps women who are victims of human trafficking and are being provided employment, education, health care, shelter and support to help restore their lives.  This is wonderful ~ I actually was brought to tears when I read this and I salute Peaches & Petals for teaming up with Starfish Project.    RV $15.99

Alterna Stylist Summer Ocean Waves Hair Spray Alterna actually has reformulated their Ocean Waves to this:  Summer Ocean Waves with Bamboo, so this product is discontinued.  However, it is still good and smells very fresh and fruit, in Alterna’s signature summer scent: Brazilian Mango & Coconut Milk.  This texturizing spray will provide weightless volume, locking in moisture, while adding a wavy texture to your hair.  It will also prevent your hair from fading from UVA and UVB rays, helping to color safe your hair and protect it from further damage.   25 mL RV $4.25

Essential Elements: This spray is formulated with Enzymetherapy, a technology that provides protection from color fade caused by UVA/UVB rays, including artificial light sources.  Ocean Waves, like all products in the ALTERNA Stylists Summer collection, is enriched with anti-oxidants to protect from environmental damage while enhancing shine and vibrancy.

Ingredients: Water, PPG-5-Ceteth-20, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Polystyrene Sulfonate, Sorbitol, Acetyl Methionine,Acetyl Serine, Algae Extract, Amino Acyl tRNA Synthetase,Benzophenone-4,  Bromelain, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil, Cetyldimethylamine Hydrolyzed Hempseedate, Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan) Extract, Copper Lysl Oxidase, Corn Oligosaccharides, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Extract,  Foeniculum Vulgare (Fennel) Seed Extract,  Ganoderma Lucidum (Mushroom) Tyrosinase,  Hydrolyzed Algae Extract, Lactoferrin, Lentinus Edodes Tyrosinase, Macrocystis Pyrifera Extract,  Panthenol,  Papain, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Fruit Extract, Phospholipids, Phytosphingosine, Polyquaternium-10, Propanediol, Quaternium-95,  Retinyl Palmitate,  Saccharomyces Lysate Extract, Saccharomyces/Copper Ferment, Saccharomyces/Zinc Ferment, Maris Sal (sea salt), Silanetriol Melaninate, Soluble Collagen, Superoxide Dismutase,   Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Fruit Extract, Wasabia Japonica Root Extract,  DMDM Hydantoin, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Fragrance, Benzyl Benzoate, Limonene

Oversized Tortoiseshell Sunglasses by Attention I ALWAYS go thru about 4 or 5 pairs of sunglasses a year ~ I purchase cheap ones, as I learned that spending big bucks for designer sunglasses just means heartbreak for me.  I lose them, break them, other people borrow them ~ I try never to get attached to my sunglasses and always look for fun frames.  These are a tortoiseshell-style oversized frame, with UV protective amber colored lenses.  The sides of these sunglasses is what makes this really interesting ~ there is a nice metal open scroll work design at the sides of the glasses and the ear pieces.  Very cool!   RV $14.99

Iced Tea 18 oz Tumbler by Slant Collections This is really adorable ~ this tumbler has a blue and green whale pattern and has a double wall, so your drink stays icy-cold and the exterior doesn’t sweat.  Made of acrylate, this has a lid and a plastic straw ~ which has a “cap” at the end, so it doesn’t fall out of the tumbler.   I couldn’t find the exact style on amazon, but I did find other styles and this retails for $14.99

Floating Circus Bag Tags in Beach Girls   This is my “Beachy Surprise”  and these bag tags are wooden tags that tie on with a leather strap.  They are very vintage looking, both in design and in art ~ this is the beach theme and looks to be from the mid 20th century, around 1940 to 1950.  There are 2 tags and they measure about 3 x 4.5 inches.  These are really nice and I will use them to identify my luggage ~ they are very unique and big!  RV $12.00

Description: Made from solid wood, Floating Circus’ series of bag tags and clipboards turn normally mundane items into fun and colorful gifts and accents. The name Floating Circus comes from Cirque Flottant, the name of one of the regular dealers at les Puces de Saint-Ouen flea market, on the outskirts of Paris. A lot of the art and ideas in our line came from that same flea market – and others like it throughout France, England and the United States.

This is the best box ever from Peaches & Petals that I have received.  I love this box ~ I will use all of the items and just a lot of fun products in here with the summer fun theme ~ earrings with a fantastic social message, the sunglasses (so cool), the coverup, drinking goblet with whales, bag tags and beach-y summer waves hair product ~  Perfect theme and Peaches & Petals hit a home run with this box!    Peaches & Petals monthly subscription boxes are $19.99 a month and that includes shipping.    This month, the box looks to be of  a retail value of over $78.00😀   Many thanks to Miranda for sending me this box to review ~ I really look forward to seeing what Peaches & Petals will put in the box!
