Dr. Brandt Skincare Needles No More I totally groaned when I saw ANOTHER Dr Brandt item in my Sephora box ~ but that groan turned to happy cries when I saw the product’s description. Yes, I don’t care for Dr Brandt items, but this one… might convert me. Needles No More is a cream that will help reduce the appearance of expression lines, such as laugh lines and eleveneses. Based on studies, within 4 weeks, you should see a noticeable difference in smoother, tighter and less wrinkles. I did try this out last night and it has a light lavender scent, which is very pleasant. I am really happy to have this sample to try, as the full size 1/2 oz bottle is 89 freaking dollars. Wooty-woot. I might be better off with botox injections…. Sample Size .085 oz RV $15.13
Description Needles No More is formulated with an exclusive tri-blend wrinkle smoother, a powerful synergistic smoother with peptides and minerals. It helps to provide instant and long-term smoothing effect while visibly improving the look of expression lines. Made without parabens, sulfates, phthalates. This wrinkle smoothing cream targets lines and wrinkles on the forehead, between brows, and crow’s feet. Tri-blend Wrinkle Smoother: A powerful synergistic smoother of peptides and minerals.

CLINIQUE Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight I love some of Clinique’s products ~ their black honey lipbalm/lipstick, Extreme mascara, powder eyeshadows. I have a love-hate relationship with their chubby sticks ~ I LOVE the concept, and the lip chubby sticks are great. The eyeshadow and blushes aren’t. And I own a lot of them to testify that the colors are AMAZING. It looks so good on initially and wham, fades quickly. Slides right off this oily skinned gal. I guess if you have drier skin, this might hold up, but it really doesn’t for me. This is a lovely subtle shimmer stick and it is beautiful pink-champagne color. And I know for a fact, it won’t last that long on my face, but I will stubbornly use it and carry it in my purse. Cause I love these chubby sticks and I am determined to use them! I do appreciate this is a new product from Clinique and Sephora has put a new item (not old!) in our boxes. Deluxe Size .12 oz .7 g RV $12.57
I didn’t blend it out on my hand, so you can see the shimmery glow. Once blended, it is more subtle ~ but if you wanted a more dramatic look, you can achieve that with this product
Description: An oil-free cream highlighting stick. Accentuate your best features with this highlighting stick, formulated with light-reflecting optics to illuminate the face. Long-wearing (no, it really isn’t) and oil-free, it’s ideal for wearing over bare skin or foundation, and to spotlight the top of cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, and other areas.

Sephora Collection Eye Mask in Green Tea I have tried their Honey version and am very happy to get another variation of their eye masks ~ this box can contain either green tea, rose, lotus or honey. I can tell you my experiences with the honey version ~ the mask is a paper mask and it has so much essence so it is wet and slippery to put on. They are shaped weird, like a big fat exaggerated comma with a hook ~ I wasn’t sure which way they were supposed to be placed. Due to that, the mask sat a bit lower under my eyes because of that hook. Now that I know what they look like, I will actually trim them down so that they fit better right under my eyes and use the excess bits where ever I want to. The Green Tea Eye Mask is the refreshing and relaxing version ~ green tea contains powerful antioxidants and this mask also has rice and aloe vera to help moisturize and soothe skin. RV $5.00
Description: Each of these masks is infused with a different active ingredient for relaxing the delicate skin around the eyes and achieving a brighter, more revitalized eye look. The fiber masks perfectly hug the small contours under the eye for better penetration of the active ingredients. Green Tea Eye Mask: Gives a cool, fresh sensation to the eye area and provides a smoothing effect for a wide-awake look.
Ingredients: Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Peg-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Triethanolamine, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Tremella Fuciformis (Mushroom) Extract, Piroctone Olamine, Polyquaternium-51, Maltodextrin, Brassica Oleracea Italica (Broccoli) Extract, Citric Acid, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Trideceth-6, Peg-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Fragrance, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate. cosDNA.com analysis
Living Proof Prime Style Extender Spray I like Living Proof’s dry shampoo so I am happy to get a hair product (finally!!) in my Sephora box. This is specifically formulated for fine hair (memememe) and will extend my hair style twice as long. For those with fine hair, you know that after you style your hair, it looks great and sometime within a few hours, your hair looks like you did absolutely nothing to it. Just spray on clean, damp hair, comb thru and style as usual. .5 oz RV $3.53
–OFPMA: Forms an exquisitely thin, weightless shield to repel dirt and oil and create smooth, manageable hair.
–Isohexadecane: Smooths hair texture and detangles.
–Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer: Smooths hair texture and detangles.
–Glycerin: Acts as a humectant.
Description: Prime Style Extender Spray is formulated specifically for fine hair. It goes in weightlessly and extends styles up to twice as long. Powered by a patented, alcohol-free priming system containing OFPMA, Prime Spray creates an exquisitely thin, weightless shield around hairs. Worn alone or layered under your favorite styler, Prime Style Extender Spray saves time and lets you forget the touch ups. Prime Spray can be used alone or layered with other stylers. It is compatible with all styling products, but for best results use with other silicone- and oil-free products. What it is formulated WITHOUT: Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates

Tocca Beauty Isabel This is a rose scented perfume. I am allergic to rose. This is the third month in a row where Sephora has given us a rose perfume. Since next month is February, I am betting it will be rose again. :( Sample 1.5 mL RV $2.00
Description: Isabel is celebration of the traditional Spanish rose, offering a modern, vibrant take on classic beauty. Unconventional notes of leather, vetiver, and guiacwood offer a modern edge, making this the perfect scent for the woman who stands out from the crowd.
Notes: Bergamot, Mediterranean Orange, Pear, Sangria Accord, Spanish Rose, Leather Accord, Vetiver, Turkish Rose Petals, Guiacwood, Amber, Vanilla.
Style: Vibrant. Exciting. Classic.
I am really happy this month with Sephora Play! Despite another rose scented perfume, they did break away from the mold of eyeliner, facial oil and MUFE brands. The spa like treatment products are fantastic and I have used a lot of these items. I am really excited to try out Dr Brandt and Dr Dennis Gross products and Living Proof’s Hair primer. All in all, I will use all of the products, except the rose perfume. They do need to branch out and give us more innovative scents. I paid $10.00 + sales tax (so it was still under $10.50 or something like that) and I received a RV of almost $48.00. And these boxes do contribute to Sephora’s points system, so every month, an additional 10 points, plus there is always a 50 point card in each box ~ just go down to a Sephora store and redeem. Sometimes, I just get a small item, and that + the card = over 50 points!
Did you get this month’s Sephora Play! Box? What did you think of it and what was your favorite item? I still haven’t heard about their waitlist opening up ~ I hope it will soon.
