My December Beauteque bag is here! I wasn’t too happy with one of the spoilers shown, but this is a fairly decent bag this month. What is Beauteque? Beauteque is an online Asian beauty store, located in the USA, that specializes in K-beauty. They offered a monthly bag, where you will get not only K-Beauty items, but Asian skincare, cosmetics and even Western items, but it primarily focuses on K-Beauty. For full disclosure, unless I state otherwise, all items that I review on my blog are paid for by me and this review is no exception ~ I am paying for the monthly subscription service and am not being compensated for this review.
This month’s theme is Dazzling December
This month’s bag is made of a gold fabric.
Scinic Pig Collagen Jelly Cream I did try to like these pig collagen jelly creams ~ but I cannot. They do not work for my skin type, which is oily. It makes my face more oilier in the morning, even though it doesn’t break me out. Quite frankly, I do not think pig collagen does anything other than moisturize your skin. I do not think it “infuses” collagen back into your skin, as pig collagen molecules are large chain molecules that are too large to penetrate and to be absorbed by the skin. From what I have read, it probably just fills up the pores so your skin looks smoother. I honestly feel that this is just another gimmick and whereas this cream is probably great for those with drier skin as it is so moisturizing, any benefits that come from a pig collagen cream will be washed away in the morning. This is made with 50% pig collagen. Full Size 50 mL RV 17.90

Somang Keratin Silkprotein Hair Aqua Essence This was randomly chosen product, where the other item was a hair mist, and I am very happy I got this item! I don’t quite understand hair mists as I do not smoke anymore and I do wash my hair daily. I live in a state where smokers are very rare (less than 19%) and therefore, I am not around smokers on a daily basis. However, a hair essence (leave in conditioner) is something I am interested in! This 110 mL bottle contains 110 mg of keratin and 110 mg of silk protein to help strengthen your hair, lock in moisture and to untangle your hair. It helps smooth any damaged cuticle layers on your hair, caused by chemical and heat treatments. This also contains panthenol (vitamin B5) and seven different flower and herb extracts ~ chamomile, rosemary, viola tricolor, English ivy, sage, lavender and waterlily. Full Size 110 mL RV $13.99

Beauteque Rainbow Volume Brush This is a cute travel brush with rainbow bristles and a little mirrow on the other side. I don’t think it is worth fourteen dollars, but I’ve actually had these brushes before and they are great for traveling. RV $13.99
LadyKin Elmaju Broccoli Super Brightening Cream I love the broccoli toner and ampoule from LadyKin but I am not so sure about this product!! This is one of those whitener creams, where it leaves down a white pigment on your skin, caused by the titanium dioxide ingredient. Made with 75% broccoli water, oranges, blueberries & pumpkin extracts, it is one of those creams that has a white tint in it so it leaves a white cast behind on your skin, so your skin looks whiter ~ it is just temporary. This is also a moisture drop cream, so there are bead s of water that show up on your skin as you apply this. There are no colorants or parabens in this cream.
- Broccoli ~ Broccoli is a superfood it not only contains antioxidants like beta-carotene and Vitamin C, it also has Vitamin B complex, Vitamin E ~ which creates radiant skin and shiny hair as it revives skin tissue, Vitamin A and K, Omega 3 Fatty Acids, Amino Acids and Folic Acid (Vitamin B9). All of these vitamins help care for your skin and keep it glowing and healthy. Broccoli also contains glucoraphanin, a phytonutrient, which has been reported in reversing sun damage on your skin.
I think I will just use this as a body lotion and keep it away from my face Full Size 60 mL RV $15.00

Urban Dollkiss Black Devil Nail Polish For some reason, Beauteque called this Black Evil, when it is Black Devil :) The colors were randomly chosen and I got #2 Golden Yellow, which is just a plain metallic gold shade. I will be gifting this as I don’t care for plain gold nailpolish that much. However, I did purchase this beautiful shade while I was looking up this nailpolish ~ they have this in Green Aurora and this is beautiful!
I wish this one was in my bag instead. Oh well, at least it wasn’t lime green! haha I do think that the bat design on the bottle is really nicely done, but this should have been in our October bag, not a December bag! Full Size 8.5 mL RV $6.00
Tonymoly Easy Touch Lip Liner Another randomly selected shade and I really lucked out with this ~ I received #3 Red Wine, which is a great wine color lip liner ~ this is very matte, very creamy and you have to make sure that your lips are in great shade to use this! Matte shades show every defect, so exfoliate and moisture your lips :) I love this shade and it is perfect for the winter time. Full Size .2 gram RV $8.00
I do think this month had a couple of gimmicky items in them, the pig collagen and “whitening” cream. I could have lived without these items and I wish Beauteque would have replaced the LadyKin item with the LadyKin Broccoli toner as that is a superior product. I think the best items in this bag are the hair essence, lip liner and brush. I like it when Beauteque adds a beauty tool to use with a beauty product and this month, the essence and brush go hand in hand (or hair in hair!) I paid $24.00 for my bag + $3.95 shipping for a total of $27.95 and received a BeautequeValue** of $74.88 and this time, they seem to have not over-inflated the value!
** Just as with Memebox, the values of these products are the manufacturer’s retail value, but you can find them much cheaper elsewhere.
