I really love my Memebox XO Pony Bloom Orange Bloom palette and Jungsun Eyeshadow set in Charcoal Sweater, so I decided to go back and purchase a couple of items ~ The Memebox Pony Pink Bloom Box and Jungsun Eyeshadow in #02 Trench Coat. I rarely purchase makeup centric boxes, but since I knew what was going to be included, I decided that the Pink Pink Bloom Box would be a good purchase for me to make.
A hint of pink adds a romantic glam to your everyday makeup. This box contains products from Pony Floral Collection as well as additional makeup products you can pair with her products to achieve Pony’s signature romantic spring look. Plus a mystery bonus skincare item!
Pony Shine Easy Glam 3 Eyeshadow Quad #02 Pink Bloom The colors in this quad are very lovely, however, I found that with my coloring, I cannot use the indy pink as a lid color, even with the ash-brown as a contour. It really makes me look like I have pink eye. Unlike the #03 Orange Bloom, which all colors worked well together and was wearable for me, these colors do need another neutral to tone down the pink of this quad. It is a lovely quad, it is just that I will also have to add more shadows to make this work for me. I could just use the Ash Brown and the Nude Pink to create an eye look, but I do prefer 3 colors when I do my eyes. The colors are rich, there is some fallout with the Fair Pink and I do feel that Nude Pink, Indy Pink and Ash Brown are highly pigmented. I guess I like these colors well enough but I just happen to love the Orange Bloom quad. Value $18.00
- Glam Nude Pink: This is an almost matte shade, it is has a little shine, but not a lot. It is a good solid baby pink flush color
- Glam Fair Pink: A glitter bomb of a pale, shiny pink with silver glitters. This shade has the most fall out and least pigmentation
- Shine Indy Pink: I think I’ve seen this color before ~ It reminds me of the Soothing Sista shade of Candy Rain, which is a metallic rose shade. They aren’t exactly the same, but they are fairly close, imho. Great pigmentation on this color and be careful ~ too much on your eyes and it looks like you’ve been weeping
- Shine Ash Brown: A really nice chocolate brown shade with lots of shimmer.
No primer, different lighting

Pony Blossom Lipstick #04 Blooming Love When this box was first released, Memebox didn’t show customers what items would be in the Pink Bloom box, unlike the Orange and Brown Bloom boxes. When I looked at Memebox Korea, they had the Pony Blossom Lipstick #03 Orange Dahila as the lipstick shade for the Pink Bloom box. Memebox USA decided to go with #04 Blooming Love, which in the tube and swatched, looks like a bright vivid shade of pink. However, when I applied it to my lips, and waited a few minutes, the shade “toned” down to a nice, wearable, glossy baby pink shade. So, I am pretty happy that this lipstick isn’t a shocking on the lips as it is swatched. If you look at the promo pics with Pony and this shade, you can see that it is a nice color of pink. I will say I do prefer the matte shades in the Pony Blossom Lipsticks as I like darker colors better. However, this is a nice spring time shade. Value $12.00
Description: Formulated with white flower complex, honey, and shea butter to keep your lips moisturized and supple, this pigmented lipstick has a glossy finish with just enough lustrous shine.
I’m Eyeliner #04 Blazing Well, I would have rather had Immortal, as that is a plum-brown eyeliner. This is a burgundy eyeliner with pink tones and is not a matte eyeliner, but one with lots of shimmer ~ however, it is not a glitter bomb. Huge different between shimmer and glitter. I think this would have been better as a lip liner, but I am not sure I can use this on my lips. I would have to research the ingredients to see if they were lip safe. That said, I would never wear this alone ~ again, weeping angels……I think I would layer this color ~ first a thick edge on my upper lid and then apply either a dark brown or black liner over it. I already own the I’m Eyeliner in Jade and I will say that the I’m Eyeliner series is really top quality, very long wearing and they do not budge once they set on your eyes. The Korean version of the Pony Pink box had the black eyeliner instead of this shade. Swatches for the next three products will be found at the I’m Cream Shadow description. Value $5.00
Description: I’m Eyeliner Retractable Waterproof gel eyeliner glides on smoothly to deliver cosmic doses of highly pigmented color. Formula dries fast for a long-wearing, water-resistant finish. With its retractable end and smudge tip, this liner is your go-to eyeliner for creating countless looks.

I’m Cream Blush #03 Selena I don’t believe I have tried their I’m Cream blushes yet at Memebox. This shade is Selena, which is a peach-pink shade that is very flattering. I was surprised that they picked a peach shade for this box, as they do have pink blushes that could have been used instead. But I am happy that they went with an unusual choice for a “pink” box. This is a cream blush that is easy to blend and will dry to a powder finish. Value $10.00
I’m Cream Shadow #01 Flash Light Yeah, baby. I do like Memebox’s I’m Cream shadows and they will last me till I die, as they are SO pigmented and you only need a little. This is a snow white metallic cream that is a glitter bomb with its chunks of glitter. Use sparingly and do not use your fingers to wipe away the excess, especially when you are driving and you catch your eyes in your rear-view mirror. Your hands will look like you just got fairy dust all over them. **yes, I did this the other day….the first thing I did when I got into work was to wash my hands, which by this time, were nice and sparkly….haha Value $7.50
Description: This gorgeous multi-facted pearl pigment goes on like a dream and stays put all night for glamorous eyes that sparkle with all their might. Unique bouncy cream formula allows color payoff that’s out of this world but minus the mess of typical powder pigments.
How to use: Prep eyelids with eyeshadow primer. Apply cream eyeshadow with fingers or a dense eyeshadow brush for seamless application.

It’s Skin Mini Bebe Mist in Sparkling Lime This is my “skincare” product. Well, it is a body mist, so I guess that qualifies as skincare! I do like this scent ~ it does have a dry, sour citrus scent, I am not sure it if is limes or not, but it is on the citrus-y side. It is funny, cause this is one of the items that we got to pick a scent for the upcoming May Beauteque bag and I picked this scent! I do like the size of this item, easy to put in my purse or car and I think I will keep it in the frig, so that it will really be refreshing and cooling in the summer. This is pretty interesting as it has 3 fermented yeasty products in it, as well as milk protein. Full Size 55 mL Value $6.99

Back to Basics #02 Trench Coat Palette by Jungsun
Young, fearless, and beautiful. Korea’s top model Jungsun dominated the most prestigious runways at the age of 17. Her hooded eyes captivated fashion enthusiasts from all over the world. Jungsun x Memebox Basics Collection is inspired by her wardrobe essentials – denims, oversized turtleneck sweaters, and black stilettos. She invites you to wear it, rock it and strut down your favorite streets like a billion bucks.
“I’m a simple girl. I love my basics that will never go out of style. Same goes to beauty, I gravitate towards the same basic staples -ink eyeliner for the perfect cat eyes and different shades of red lipsticks- you can never go wrong.” -Jungsun
Once again, I am impressed on how slim and lightweight, but sturdy, packaging. I love the black on black look as well.
Trench Coat is a brown collection of shadows, with two shimmer and one matte shade. The mirror has a protective film on it, which is why it looks wavy ~ I didn’t remove it when I took the pictures, as that help cut down the glare from the flash. I do like the brushes in the Back to Basic Collections ~ they are a major step up from the brushes that were in the past Pony palettes
The three shades are, from left to right
- Light Brown ~ This is a light peach shimmer shade, which is great for highlighting. It is a sheer wash of color.
- Medium Brown ~ This is described as “satin shimmer ash brown” which at first concerned me, as the Pink Bloom palette has an ash brown shade. However, this is a medium shade and not as dark as the ash brown in the Pink Bloom palette.
- Dark Brown ~ A deep true matte chocolate brown shade. Very nice.
All three of these shades have little or no fall out and are pigmented. I only swatched twice and I did not use a primer in the photos below. I think the brown shades work well with the Pink Bloom palette and will probably use them with that palette, so I don’t have the dreaded pink eye. Trench Coat can also be used by itself, as it is a nice neutral warm brown palette with a lovely peach shade.
I don’t think that the Memebox swatches for this palette is very good ~ the Light Brown is not registering as the peach shade that it is.
Final tab here ~ I paid $38.00 for the Pony Pink Bloom Box and received a value of $64.99. No MemeValue here, as these are their products, except for the It’s Skin item. I feel that I got a nice selection of makeup items and I am pretty happy with them, as despite my reservations, their I’m series is very good and I highly recommend them. I wish they would come out with other colors, such as navy and plum. I also paid $9.50 for Jungsun Back to Basics Trench Coat, which is down from $16.00, which I think is a pretty good deal! I like the Jungsun products and I am surprised how little attention that line is receiving.
Did you get any of the Pony Bloom products? How about the Jungsun Back to Basics line? What did you think of them?
