Back in March, I received my first 3B Box and I was missing my Sulwhasoo Essential Balancing Water sample. I emailed them and they responded that they would send me my missing sample in April’s bag. April’s bag did not contain the sample, so I emailed them again about it, and they apologized and sent me my missing sample ~ and other items as well! I was blown away with this. I was only missing a small vial of Sulwhasoo and that is all I expected. Before I show you want they sent me, you might be asking yourself….What is 3B (Beauty Beyond Borders)? It is an Asian sample monthly subscription box and is very affordable at $12.00/monthly. It is similar to ipsy and Birchbox, where you get 4 to 5 deluxe samples (and sometimes a full sized item!)
If you are interested in 3B, you can sign up for their waitlist ~ it took me almost 2 months to get off their waitlist, which is fine, because they are being very careful not to have their service suffer by over subscribing customers. More about 3B’s monthly service:
Each box contains a collection of deluxe samples that are new or popular in Asia but hard to get your hands on. The products will change each month, and you’ll get to try new skincare, haircare, nailcare, and cosmetic products. Sample products range from go-to brands such as Lioele, Etude House and Skinfood to high-end premium brands like SK-II, Kanebo, and Sulwhasoo. Don’t worry about not being able to read Japanese or Korean – we’ve got you covered with English translations of descriptions in each box. (https://the3bbox.com/the-box/)
Okay, remember, I was only missing my Sulwhasoo…
A lovey handwritten note 🙂
I am glad that I am off the waitlist too! 🙂
Sulwhasoo Essential Balancing Water ~ This is the item that was missing from March 2015 bag. This is more of a gel, than a water, from what I read. It contains Matrimony Vine, which soothes and calms, promoting skin health and delivers deep hydration and restores your skin’s pH balance. A 4.2 oz bottle of this retails for $58.00. This is a 5mL Value $2.34

Peripera Nail Story in RD001 ~ It will be summer soon and I do paint my toe nails bright colors, including red. This has such a fun looking cap, with the stars. This is a classic candy apple red jelly and it is full size too. This applies very nice, very smooth. This would be great with a glitter topper on it as well. This is worth about $2.90
Innisfree Soybean Finish Cream ~ I love Innisfree and have been toying with their soybean line for a while now. I keep flirting with it and now I have a product from that line! I had no idea what a “finish cream” was, but I did a little research and it is the last step in your skin care routine (hence, finish) and can also be used as a sleeping pack. This has some great ingredients, including the fermented soybean extract, adenosine, macadamia oil, clay (kaolin) ~ I wonder if this helps with excess oil too? I will use this as a sleeping pack. Deluxe Sample 10 mL Value $7.40
Description: [Fermented Jeju soybean finish cream] This replenishes your skin overnight, moisturizing and nourishing tired skin and making your skin condition perfect for makeup. I also received some foil samples ~ Missha Time Revolution Immortal Youth Cream, Missha MISA Geumsul Vitalizing Finisher, Mizon Crystal Miracle Face Cream (whitening!), Mizon Pore Refine Silky Essence and Mizon Hydra-Full Solution Water Volume Aqua Gel Cream. They sent me, excluding the foil value, almost $13.00 in products, including a full size nail polish and a deluxe size of a product I have been wanting to try for a long time, the Innisfree Soybean.
Seriously, what great Customer Service from The 3B Box! Thank you so much for this! Totally unexpected 🙂
