Unboxing Memebox Must Have Skincare: Spring Edition Box

Finally, a skincare box from Memebox that might just work for my skin type!  Lately, Memebox has been doing a lot of dry skin care boxes and a ton of makeup centric boxes, so I haven’t been interested that much ~ I wish Memebox would stop with the glut of makeup boxes.  They came out with the Must Have Skincare: Spring Edition box and I really liked the looks of it, so I purchased it.  It is still available and at the bottom of my blog post, I have several coupon codes for 15% off ~ these are exclusive to me, so if you use them, I would love it if you used my affiliate link as well!

Holika Holika Soda Pore Cleansing Cream  I love bubbly cleansers and I never had a cleansing cream that is a bubbly one ~ I’ve had foaming ones, but not a cream.  I have heard a lot of good things about Holika Holika’s Soda Pore line and am excited to try this one.  This has mineral water and sodium bicarbonate, which explains the soda description (bubbly-bubbly) and those two ingredients help absorb the oil, clean out dirt within your pores, and is rich in oxygen and minerals, helping to deep cleanse your skin.  It also contains kiwi fruit extract, which helps remove dead skin cells and tea tree extract, which will help heal your skin.   This is a thick white creamy cleanser, with blue particles which help gently exfoliate.  I did use this tonight and whereas it is really isn’t a bubbly cleanser, it does smell lovely, a fresh citrus scent,  and my face felt clean, refreshed and very soft afterwards.  Full Size 180mL Value $12.00

Description: Soda for your face! Who would of thought? Well as it turns out cleansing your face with carbonated water can be seriously beneficial. The soda bubbles go deep into your pores to remove all dirt and impurities. The bubbles also deliver oxygen deep into the skin to brighten your complexion. This cleansing cream contains capsules with carbonated ingredients that will pop and remove dirt and oil. So go on, apply some carbonation to your face.

Skin79 Lotus Mild Cleansing Foam   This cleanser sounds really interesting!  It has lotus extract ~ to help protect skin and remove waste by-products, galactomyces ferment ~ moisturizes and protects skin barrier, rosemary leaf & camomille extract ~ to soothe and protect skin, licorice & centilla asiatica extract ~ for brightening and evening out skin tone, mushroom extract ~ for oil and skin balancing and papaya & salix alba (white willow) bark extract ~ exfoliation.  It is good for stressed, sensitive and oily skin.  I have not opened this yet, as I have 53,289 cleansing foams to get thru, but if anyone is worried about pH levels, you can re appropriate your foam cleansers and use them in other ways, such as a body cleanser or even a makeup brush cleanser!  Full Size 200mL Value $14.00

It’s Skin Secret Solution Clear Essence  This is an essence that is designed to help clear up acne.  I didn’t open it yet, as I have another product that I am currently using, but I will be using this soon.   I love that it has a sponge dab applicator instead of a pump or eye dropper applicator.  You can remove the sponge and clean it, if you are worried about that sort of thing.    This does have jasmine in it, but so long it doesn’t smell like Jasmine, I will be okay.   I do like that it has green tea and licorice in here.  Full Size 75mL  Value $15.50

Description: This essence is potent enough to begin clearing up acne within 5 days! It is formulated with white flower complex, trichloroacetic acid, licorice and green tea extracts to both defeat acne and soothe irritated skin. Embrace clear skin this Spring season!

Skinfood Facial Ice Vita Mist  I am so exited to get this product!   This is the first Korean facial mist I have seen that is in an aerosol can ~ usually, Korean facial mists are in pump mist sprays.   This is more on the level of Evian Facial Mist, as it is also an aerosol can mist, which means I can get a finer mist from the spray nozzle.  I am a huge fan of Skinfoods Water line and getting the facial ice mist is a major plus for me.    This also has a ton of fruit and veggie ingredients, which pack a powerhouse of vitamins and antioxidants:  carrot, tomato, apple, cabbage, broccoli, celery, asparagus, raspberry, cranberry, açaí, strawberry, spinach, alfalfa and pomegranate ~ as well as witch hazel, which will tighen pores.  This has a very light fruity scent, and very cooling and refreshing on the skin.    This is going in my gym bag for sure!  I will use this quite a bit now that spring and summer around the corner.  Full Size 100mL  Value $17.00

Description: Nothing like a refreshment in the middle of a long day, ahhh. Instantly cool down your skin with this moisture and nutrition packed facial mist to keep your skin at it’s ideal skin temperature.  An icy toner that immediately relieves heat sensations and skin dryness with a fluffy cloud of icy sherbet infused with Alaska glacier water and a complex of vitamins A, B, C and E.

If you are a person with oily skin or normal-oily skin, I highly recommend getting this box.  It is rare to get a box that isn’t full of heavy creams and serums designed for much drier skin tones.  I was able to finally get the Holika Holika Pore Soda cleanser, another Skinfood Water series product and I am really interested in seeing out the It’s Skin Secret Solution works as well as the sea cucumber (is it a vegetable or an animal??) mask.   I paid $40.00, which included shipping and received a MemeValue**  of $65.50.  You can still purchase the box set here.     ** MemeValue ~ you can certainly find these products cheaper elsewhere.  Always do some comparison shopping.    That said, I do have some coupons below that will discount this box further.

Did you get the Memebox Must Have Skincare: Spring Edition Box?  What did you think of it?

    1. I ended up here a year late because I am trying to decide whether to bid on the Holika Holika Sea Cucumber (First) Essence, and I am looking for reviews, of which there seem to be none…😛 Do you think the mask was anything special?

      1. It is hard to say as one mask cannot really tell me if this ingredient is all that & a bag of chips. Since I did not repurchase it or post it on IG, I have to believe this was a bit unforgettable as far as masks go…

        1. In the meantime, I have realized that the essence has dimethicone quite high on the ingredient list, and as annoying as it is, it usually causes CC’s on muh face, so it’s a no-go for me, anyway. Your comment reassured me.🙂

  1. Great review! I was actually thinking of buying this but I had already bought the It’s Skin Essence from ebay- still waiting for it to come lol! I still might pick this up because the other items look like they would be good for my skin! #kbeautybloghop

  2. This is my first case of “meme-envy” since they broke up with the rest of the world. I think I may need to look up some of these products on my own because they look great. I really like the look of that soda cleanser and the acne solution.

    1. I’ve been using the soda cleanser daily now and I really enjoy it. If I leave it on my face long enough, I see little tiny teeny bubbles ~ bubbles that want to be free ~ but then they die out…aha

  3. When I read “bubbly cleansing cream” my jaw dropped. Too bad it doesn’t really bubble, because that would be amazing. This does seem like a good box overall… I still miss the days of sub-$30 boxes though (who doesn’t?)

    1. It doesn’t bubble like other bubble cleansers…it has a teeny tiny little bit of bubble, but really, nothing to write home about. I think this was a pretty good box, but I do miss my 23.00 boxes!!
