This month’s Notoriously Morbid Vanishing Cabinet bag theme is absolutely fabulous! Last month’s was not my style, but this month is really outstanding. For those who are not aware of what Notoriously Morbid is, they are an indie beauty company, specializing in eyeshadows and lippies, and it is $12.90 a month. Every month, more slots are available, so follow their facebook page and also their facebook group to learn more about deals and when new collections are available!
This month’s theme is Look at All the Men I Can’t Have (British Edition)!
If you’re anything like us, you love it when these guys walk on screen.
Accents, intelligence, cheekbones, physique, charm; the list goes on and on.
There’s just something about these striking British Men!

OMG yes! I do love these guys and yes, I can’t have them. Love this collection
Captivating Cumberbatch ~ Inspired by none other than the graceful Benedict Cumberbatch, we created a shimmery shadow that falls on the plum end of the taupe spectrum. This is a beautiful neutral pale taupe with light plum accents. This is one of my top 2 favorites
Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide, Mica, Magnesium Stearate, Ultramarine, Iron Oxide, Iron Oxide, Carmine, Tin Oxide, Carnauba Wax. *Not Vegan **Not Lip Safe
Enticing Elba ~ Idris Elba has that certain something and we liked it so much, we made this cornflower blue shadow with sexy copper shimmer. I see that this is a very vivid blue and I see a pale coppery shimmer with this, but it registers to be more of a purple when mixed with the blue (red/orange + blue = purple)
Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide, Mica, Magnesium Stearate, Tin Oxide, Ultramarine, Chromium oxide green, Carnauba Wax. *Vegan **Not Lip Safe
Handsome Hiddleston ~ Yes, this is a shadow for Tom Hiddleston. And yes, you know you love this splendid true emerald green with majestic gold and green shimmers. This is my other favorite in the collection. This is such a lovely deep green, more forest than emerald, and it shimmers and sparkles beautifully! This is the most sparkly one of the bunch.
Ingredients: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide, Chromium Oxide Green, Silica, Ferric Ferrocyanide, Iron Oxide, Magnesium Stearate, Carnauba Wax. *Vegan **Not Lip Safe
Hell Hot Hardy ~ One of the most talented actors of his generation and not too hard on the eyes, this Tom Hardy inspired shadow offers up a dusty blue with glowing blue shift. This is more of a pale aqua-grey to me
Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide, Mica, Magnesium Stearate, Iron Oxide, Ferric Ferrocyanide, Tin Oxide, Ultramarines, Carnauba Wax, Chromium Oxide Green. *Vegan **Not Lip Safe
Lustful Lincoln ~ We find ourselves pulled to Andrew Lincoln and his quiet magnetism. While we can never have him, we try console ourselves with this vivid orange with red shimmers. This my least favorite color. I do not like oranges and this is a bright orange shade. I suppose if you like orange lipstick, this would be good as a lippie, but I just don’t like orange.
Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide, Mica, Magnesium Stearate, Iron Oxide, Tin Oxide, Silica, Carnauba Wax. *Vegan **Lip Safe
March Sneak Peek ~ Lover’s Sigh This is a beautiful dusty purple/violet shimmer. A lovely lady in the NM Customer Crypt FB group guessed that next month’s theme is Game of Thrones ~ WOO HOO! I love Game of Thrones, so this is a collection that I am looking forward to. Lover’s Sigh is from “The Song of the Seven” and is for the Maiden
The Maiden dances through the sky, she lives in every lover’s sigh. Her smiles teach the birds to fly, and gives dreams to little children.
Dear Diary Coffin Kisser ~ This is an un-tinted lip balm that smells like grape Pixy Stix.
Ingredients: Beeswax, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Jojoba Oil, Flavor (Includes essential oils, natural extracts & artificial flavors).
I cannot seem to take shimmer/glitter shadow photos properly, however, I hope this gives you an idea of the actual color (and then think SHIMMER!)

This month was amazing for me. I felt that NM hit the right balance with a neutral, a bright, a dark brooding shade, pale shade and an outrageous shade. The only color I won’t use is the outrageous one because I dislike orange, but the others are great colors and I cannot wait to try use them. Plus I am really excited for next month’s collection! I have kinda given up on an X-Files theme, so how about Lost? Or Once Upon a Time? Or a return to grunge with My So-Called Life?
