MediHeal H.D.P. Shower Capping Pack (Korea)   This is a wash off mask pack and what is really cool about this is that there is a “lid” to this pouch, as there are more than one uses from this mask.  Genie mentioned she could get 3-4 uses easy out of this mask pack.   This is a mask that you leave on for 20 minutes and rinse off ~ the shower capping is just a description that it can be worn while you shower.  This is a pore mask (H.D.P. = Help Diminish Pore) and contains tea tree oil to help control oil and remove blackheads.   This is, based on the description, a creamy clay formula mask, which makes sense as clay is really good for cleaning out pores and reducing the appearance of pores.  Value $3.00

Adin Herb Essence Mask (Korea)  I really love herbal masks and this one contains rosemary, lavender, ginseng and lemon extracts (herbal extract ingredient), which will soothe stressed and tired skin.   This also contains Vitamin E, collegan and hyaluronic acid to help attract and keep moisture in the skin. One thing I found interesting was how to use this mask depending on the season.  I already keep my masks in the frig as I like  cool mask on my face, but in the winter, they recommend to soak the package 2 to 3 minutes in warm water to heat it up.  Interesting!  Maybe the next time I am outside in the cold for an extended period of time, I will try this. Value $2.50 ~ $3.00

This is another winner for me with MaskGenie.  I like the different varieties and the H.D.P. Shower Capping wash off mask is really cool, with its reusable bag and spout.  This month’s bag is very functional, with the snail, herb, brightening and coenzyme Q10 masks.   This is a good mix of familiar brands with Etude House, Skinfood, My Beauty Diary and Secret Key and unfamiliar ones as well.

If you are interested in MaskGenie, just go to MaskGenie FB page at https://www.facebook.com/MaskGenie and email Genie with your selection ~ either $22.00 US for the 10 pouch or $12.00 US for the 5 pouch.   This month’s pouch was worth over $19.00 or so (and this is based on what I found out there).  I have to factor in shipping costs and the personal time that Genie takes in choosing and trying out the masks.   This was pretty speedy shipping, as it was mailed on February 5th and I received it on February 13th ~ and that with all of the snow here that is causing mail delays!   I actually have another mask pouch this month to reveal, as I did order the Chinese New Year Oriental Beauty Pouch LE.  That should be coming soon.  Do you subscribe to MaskGenie?  What masks interest you the most this month?

    1. yes, MaskGenie ships internationally and I know a few people in the UK who have purchased her subscription! Genie is based in Hong Kong, so she has so many to choose from and the price does include shipping ~ and it is fast too! She also does youtube unboxings when she ships out the monthly bags, so you can see what you are going to get (if you want to be spoiled before you get your bag)
