Informational Card

As these products are unknown to me and perhaps even to my readers, I am posting a description of the product under my thoughts for every product.  Normally, I just do a snippet or if it is a product that doesn’t really need a description, I won’t post it.  But for the purposes of my Memeboxes, I will make sure I find the appropriate description, usage and ingredient list if I can find it.   The descriptions will be from the webpage that is linked to the product name.  Not all of these products are sold in the Memebox Shop, so I had to look for them on various sites.   I really had a hard time finding these products, by the way, so don’t be thrown off by the Korean websites that are linked here!

Primary Raw Seoul DoYou Soy Milk Facial Cream I am REALLY excited to get this.  I had already received one for review from Memebox and you can read my in-depth product review here, but I love this cream so much that having a backup is just fantastic!  I will repeat some of the highlights from my original review here, but be sure to read the full review too:

There is no scent to this cream that I can smell and the texture is more of a gel-cream hybrid, which I have found to be my favorite type of facial cream texture.  You can see that it “strings” up a bit, which I feel is due to the snail mucus in the product.   DoYou Soy Milk facial cream contains soybean extract, rice bran water, wheat germ oil, snail mucus, green tea, fermented ginger, aloe vera and other great ingredients.

The texture is very smooth and slick and I was worried about the initial feeling on my skin, which felt like a thin coating of oil, but then the cream just absorbed into my skin.    My face felt “dewy” and well-moisturized.   I was concerned about acne, due to a couple of ingredients that were potentially triggers, but I did not experience any unusual breakouts or issues when using this cream.

My face felt very hydrated and plump ~ not with fat, but with moisture, haha ~ in the morning, and there was no residue left on my face when I woke up.   I have to say this works beautifully as a night cream for me.   If you have dry skin or combo skin that leans on the drier side, this cream would be great as a day cream.  For those like me, oily skin or combo skin that leans on the oilier side, this cream works fantastic as a night cream.   I might also be tempted to use this cream during the day if the weather is really arid, windy and cold.    As with any  product, please check out the ingredient list I’ve provided and see if there are any products that you might allergic to.  This is a soy-based cream, so for those who are allergic to soy, a patch test is always recommended.   This cream is already in my December’s Favorite Products and I wish everyone could try this product out!!  Memebox doesn’t have it on sale yet at their shop, but they do have a “Wishlist” feature, so if you missed out on this box, or you want to order another one, just click on this link and then click on “Add to Wishlist”.  That way, Memebox can track what items are popular and get them into their Memeshop.   Unboxing Beauty’s Green Food Score 10/10 (Soy Bean) Full Size 100 g Value $40.00

Solución 9 Aztec Therapy Shampoo  I am having a shampoo overload right now!!  I recently purchased several shampoos, from Innisfree to Wishtrend as well as some beloved favorites, so I have lots of shampoo right now.  This smells like dill, which I actually like, but some may not.  It is a very herbal scent.  The aroma-therapeutic shampoo is a light creamy green color with little flecks of herbs, translucent. I will have to use this but I hope I don’t fall in love with it because it is sixty-eight-frigging-dollars!   The Memecard instructions are a bit misleading ~ these are the instructions from Solución 9’s website

“Take a bubble massage the scalp and rinse thoroughly with water after the bubble state maintained for at least 5 minutes. Other shampoo and conditioner, it is recommended not to mix the treatment is the most effective way to use before going to bed. If you use a conditioner and treatment, it is recommended that you use do not touch the scalp as possible.”

So, I think that they are stating do not use mix this with other shampoos/conditioners and if you do use this product with a conditioner, make sure that this shampoo doesn’t touch your scalp.  Okay, I am just going to use this like normal shampoo.  The website also states that you do not need to use conditioner, so maybe that is what this is all about.  First ~ do not mix this with other shampoos.  Second ~ you don’t need to use a conditioner.   Either that or my hair will fall out!  I will keep you posted!  Unboxing Beauty’s Green Food Score 2/10 (Aloe Vera)  Full Size 250 mL Value $68.00

derma B Fresh Moisture Body Lotion  Derma-B belongs to the same company ~ NeoPharm ~  that makes Atopalm, which specializes in skincare for sensitive skin.  This is an herbal lotion ~ it is made with tea tree, peppermint, berganot, ginger and amber notes and is gentle and non-sticky.   It is recommended to leave in the refrigerator.  First off, they could have given us a full size!!  It is only $19.00 for 400 mL.  Secondly, even though I really love this herbal formula, it is not a green food product.   This has a fresh light scent, very nice and soothing.     Unboxing Beauty’s Green Food Score 0/10 Size 50 mL Value  $2.38

WillSpa Touch Aroma Therapy Roll-on Oil Randomly selected from Chill Out, Breath Easy  I received Breath Easy.   I love aromatherapy products!   Either one of these would have made me quite happy 🙂  They share similar ingredients, so I think you could use them interchangeably.    Chill Out is a stress reliever and you would roll on to pulse points around your neck, temples and wrists.   Breath Easy is a sinus reliever and you would roll on under your nose and breath in the aroma.   Since I do suffer from allergies and colds from the winter, Breath Easy is perfect for the upcoming months.    I don’t smell the peppermint, but I do smell the eucalyptus and pine.  Even though I only received Breath Easy, I am including the information on Chill Out for those who get that selection.   Unboxing Beauty’s Green Food Score 0/10 Full Size 12 mL  Value $18.00

Tosowoong Aloe Whitening Essence   This is a whitening essence which will help brighten and even out my skintone.  It is a clear gel essence, not watery and does not have a noticeable scent.   It contains 75% aloe vera leaf juice, which is highly moisturizing and soothes skin.  It also contains adensoine and niacinamide, which help with reducing the appearance of wrinkles and hyper-pigmentation.   I have enjoyed all of the Tosowoong products I have received and this one will be no exception.  As it is aloe vera, I will save it for warmer months. Unboxing Beauty’s Green Food Score 2/10 (Aloe Vera – iffy, I know)  Full Size 60 mL Value $16.00

Product Description:  Brighten and firm up dull and sagging skin with this whitening facial essence enriches with over 75% pure aloe vera leaf water.  It instantly soothes, cools and deeply replenishes the sensitive, stimulated skin.  This gentle formula can be used by all skin types and ages.

Now, I will say this.  This is not a Green Foods box.  Other than the soy beans, the other items really stretch the whole concept of veggies and fruits.  Aloe Vera, maybe ~ you can make some nice refreshing drinks with aloe vera.  Rosemary, no.  All of the herbal ingredients?  No.   The description did state veggies, fruits, even mentioned broccoli.    Alas, outside of soy beans, this is not a green fruit & veggies ingredient skincare box.   So, I can understand why people are totally upset about this box, as it is an herbal box…..but I am in love with this box.

This is my long-lost Herbal box that Memebox was supposed to curate back in the summer, but they sent us a crappy floral-weird shit box instead (with a rose scented vagina perfume, I kid you not).    This has mint, tea tree, lavender, thyme, rosemary, eucalyptus…. And for that, I LOVE this box.  I am sorry, I understand the total disappointment that there are no green foods here and this is not SuperFoods II box.  I’ve had Memeboxes that the themes were all messed up in the past too.   I was looking forward to a Green Foods box myself, but if there was to be a messed up theme in a box, an herbal theme is most welcomed!   I also love that Memebox gave us a really cool aroma therapy product, as I don’t believe I have ever received one before from them.   This box gets a thumbs down for sticking to the Green Foods theme, but a MAJOR big thumbs up from me for being a fantastic herbal box.  I will use every product in this box.   If you received this box, try the facial cream ~ I think it is fantastic!  Let me know in  the comments what you think about the Primary Raw DoYou Soy Milk facial cream 🙂

I paid $29.00 + $6.99 in shipping, for a total of $35.99 ~ I am sure I had Memepoints and this box was much less ~ and received a MemeValue ** of $144.38.  ** What is MemeValue?  It is my term to describe the value that Memebox puts on the products, which can be very over inflated.  You can usually find these products at a lesser cost, so I do suggest researching first if you wish to purchase them.
