I recently received Ashieda© Natural Clear Skin Cleansing Sponge in return for my honest review from Tomoson. If you follow my blog, you will notice that I purchase a lot of skincare items, including Memebox, and receive many cleansing foams and soaps. I like using a sponge or a brush for my cleansing creams and foams, so this sponge will be put to good use!

As with all cleansing sponges of this type, it comes small, hard and inflexible. There is a a string loop in the sponge, so it can be hung to dry. To use, you soak it in warm water ~ or just let water flow over it to get it soft ~ and it will expand greatly and become super soft and spongy with a gelatinous feel to it! Konjac is highly fibrous, which is why is it an excellent material for exfoliation.
Ashieda claims that you can use this without a cleanser, but I have oily skin, so my face never feels clean without a cleanser. I just add some cleanser on top of the sponge and my cleanser will foam up and bubble nicely, while the sponge gently exfoliates and cleanses my skin, unclogging my pores, removing dirt and oil. My skin is brighter and fresher when I use a little sponge of this nature ~ much better than a washcloth or your hands! It is the right size to move around your face without getting soap into your eyes. It is so gentle, that I would recommend this for children too!
Once you are finished cleansing your face, rinse out well and just hang to air dry. If you live in a very humid area, they recommend to storing your sponge in the refrigerator. I use mine every day and you should replace your cleansing sponges every 2 to 3 months.
You can purchase Ashieda© Natural Clear Skin Cleansing Sponge at amazon.com for $9.98 with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, which is a pretty decent deal. I have used boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponges and they retail for $15.00, and I do think that they are comparable.
What is Konjac?

The konjac root has been a part of Japanese beauty rituals for over 1,500 years. In fact, the first known use of the konjac root traces back to Japan. Because of the unique, unblemished environment, the konjac root and bamboo charcoal ingredients sourced from Jeju Island are the purest in the world. The island itself has a sublime, temperate climate, and is home to dense, luxurious forests with over 1,800 species of flora. One of the least polluted environments on earth, the water of Jeju Island is known as the purest in the world, purified by filtering through the natural volcanic rock. This pristine water nourishes the soil, making it nutrient-rich and perfect for growing the highest quality ingredients that can only be found there. from http://www.sephora.com/konjac-cleansing-sponge-P382345?skuId=1544030
