Memebox Ipsenature 5 Seeds Apple Water Brightening Scrub Review

Memebox also has a Memeshop where you can purchase items that may or may not be in a Memebox.  I purchased the Ipsenature 5 Seeds Apple Water Brightening Scrub way back in August of this year, after they were having a huge sale on scrubs and I ordered this for $10.00 ~ it normally retailed for $22.00 at the Memeshop.   This scrub’s description sounded very appealing (apple – peel – appealing – weak pun) to me and I was interested in the concept of apple water.

Product Description: Don’t envy apples, you can get ultra-smooth apple skin using this brightening scrub that smooths out skin surface and gently exfoliates.  Apple water is great for evening out and brightening skintone.  Ideal for all skin types.  This product is formulated without parabens, sulfate, benzophenone, mineral  oils, isopropyl alcohol, synthetic colors or fragrances.

How To Use:  Apply small amount on wet face and massage in a circular motion for 5 minutes. Wash off with  lukewarm water

Key Ingredients: apple water, 5 seeds, rosemary extract, chamomile, corn powder, raspberry powder, apricot seed powder, walnut shell powder.

According to the box, Ipsenature 5 Seeds Apple Water Brightening Scrub contains 8,000 mg of Apple Water extract, which will help minimize skin irritations and leave your skin smooth and hydrated as well as brighter.   The 5 seeds are 1,600 mg of gentle seed powder ~ walnut, apricot, rice powder, corn powder and strawberry ~ which help in removing dead skin cells and excess oil in your pores, as well as simulating and promoting new skin cell growth, for fresher, healthier looking skin.

This is a new jar of the scrub as the one I have currently in use is pretty well used and not very pretty looking!  It resides in my shower.  You can see the seeds that are within the creamy cleanser scrub.

This is before I add water ~ you can see how many seeds there are in this small swatch and the creamy texture.

This is a very creamy cleanser and is very mild and gentle.  It does exfoliate but it foams up like a cleanser, not a scrub.   It has a light scent, not unpleasant, but it a bit medicinal ~ at least to me.   When I first used this, I did notice that my skin was softer and seemed more “bright” in its tone.   I have oily skin and this product is gentle enough for me to use several times a week ~ yes, I know I shouldn’t exfoliate that often, but it is what it is.

I have been using this product now for almost 2 months and I really would like to make it a staple in my cleansing routine, as I feel it effectively cleans out my pores, while removing dead skin cells.  If my face is a bit sensitive, I know I can use this product without any irritation.   The problem I have is the availability of it and I am now hoarding my scrubs.

Unfortunately, the Memeshop is out of stock with this product.   I do hope they will carry it again, and I am glad that I went back and purchased 2 more of these scrubs after I saw it was in the Snow White Memebox.  I knew that once people started to use it, that this item would be popular!    If this does come back in stock, run and grab one!

Do you use Ipsenature 5 Seeds Apple Water Brightening Scrub?  What do you think of it?  Should I start a Memebox petition to get it back in stock (lol)?  Do you know of another online site that carries it and ships globally?

    1. I use this after I do cleansing in the morning🙂 It is an exfoliator and we aren’t supposed to exfoliate daily, so that is why I use it after the cleansing step a few times a week

I suppose on the days that you were to use this, if you wanted to replace the cleanser with it, you could
